PCF stands for PowerApps Component Framework that can be added to the record form or grid to visualize the respective records on the map. These are the custom controls which will enhance the user experience while working with entity views and individual records. Let\u2019s have a quick walk through on the three PCF Controls released till now while we work on more.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maplytics.com\/features\/powerapps-component-framework-maplytics-controls-map-view-control-for-record\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Map View Control for Record<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You can add this control to any record form within a \u2018Single Line of Text\u2019 field. This will enable you to view a map which will show the record plotted on the map based on the address in the record. You can also view the Address and geo-coordinates of the record just by hovering on the plotted pushpin.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-15964\" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maplytics.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/1Improve-Dynamics-365-CRM-Productivity-with-new-Maplytics-PCF-Controls.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1440\" height=\"753\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The geographical visualization makes it easier for you to work on Dynamics 365 CRM records.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maplytics.com\/features\/view-and-edit-geolocation-on-map-within-dynamics-365-crm-record-form-using-our-maplytics-pcf-control\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Map Edit Control for Record<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You can add this control to any record form on any of the fields with the Data type \u2018Single Line of Text\u2019 and view the respective record plotted on the map. Further you can also modify the plotted location of the record. All you have to do is to simply drag the pushpin around and drop it on the required\u00a0location and click on update button to update the new Address and the geo-coordinates for the record.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-15949\" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maplytics.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/2Improve-Dynamics-365-CRM-Productivity-with-new-Maplytics-PCF-Controls.png\" alt=\"Improve Dynamics 365 CRM Productivity with new Maplytics PCF Controls\" width=\"1365\" height=\"663\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Moreover, you can also manually update the address by typing address in the space provided and clicking on update. With this control you not only visualize the record right on the record form but also update the address and the latitude\/longitude values as per the requirement.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maplytics.com\/features\/understand-your-target-market-using-maplytics-map-view-pcf-control-for-datasets-within-dynamics-crm-and-powerapps\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Map View Control for Dataset<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This control will help you to visualize records within the view or sub-grid on map right on the same page. You can view the record information just by hovering on the pushpins and highlight necessary records by clicking on the pushpins. You can also customize the record details that is to be displayed on the hover. To customize it, you can go to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.maplytics.com\/miscellaneous\/bridge-gap-dynamics-365-bing-maps-maplytics-entity-maps\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">entity map<\/a>\u00a0of the respective entity and add or remove information for the hover within the entity map.
