So to tackle this head-on, we\u2019ve mentioned a simple step-by-step solution below to resolve such queries.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Troubleshooting Assign Territory<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>1- If the territory is not assigned to the record<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>To assign the territory, the first check did you create all the territories and are geographically correct.<br \/>\na- If geography is not defined within the territory \u2013create the geography within the territory at the bottom of the page.<br \/>\nb- If geography is defined within the territory\u2013 check If the record is geocoded or not. It means the record must have its latitude and longitude field.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>If the record is not geocoded<\/strong> \u2013You can select the required records and run the Geocoding workflow. Plot the respective record and the territory on the map. You may find that there are wrong boundaries assigned within the territory and this is the reason it is assigned the wrong territory.
