Truck Routing<\/strong><\/a><\/h4>\n

To start using the Truck route, the Maplytics Team needs to be contacted at\u00a0crm@inogic.com<\/a>. Once done the user will be provided with a Maplytics license with Truck routing enabled into it.<\/p>\n

Steps to Update the License:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Go to Maplytics App<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Click on Settings<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Navigate to License Registration<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Click on Activate<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Once the license has been updated configuration needs to be done within the configuration tab. The Asset data will be configured to the users\u2019 Dynamics CRM.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”20139″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_outline” border_color=”black” onclick=”img_link_large”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Assets data configuration will create some sample records for Trucks which users can select while using the feature of Truck routing.<\/p>\n

    Users can click on the \u2018New\u2019<\/strong> button to create new records of Assets. They can also edit and save changes to the configured Assets.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”20138″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_outline” border_color=”black” onclick=”img_link_large” img_link_target=”_blank”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]After the sample records for trucks have been configured, users can enable truck routing with the following steps-<\/p>\n

    1. Go to Maplytics App > Settings<\/strong><\/li>\n
    2. Navigate to Maplytics Configuration Details<\/strong><\/li>\n
    3. Default Configuration Detail record (with no user)<\/strong><\/li>\n
    4. Navigate to Advanced Settings<\/strong><\/li>\n
    5. Enable Truck Route<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      \"Truck<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

      In Dynamics 365 Route Optimization<\/strong>, users can easily plan truck routes by selecting the truck icon on the Direction card<\/strong>. Once selected, a window will appear where users can enter Asset details<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

      They can either choose from sample truck types or enter custom details before clicking \u2018Go\u2019<\/strong> to plot the route.<\/p>\n

      However, please note that when a truck is selected as the mode of transport, Routing Management in Dynamics 365<\/strong> will not optimize the route based on the shortest distance.<\/em><\/p>\n

      With Share Route in Dynamics 365<\/strong>, users can efficiently plan and manage their truck routes while considering transport-specific constraints.<\/p>\n

      The Asset Details seen will be as follows:<\/p>\n

      1. Asset type:\u00a0<\/strong>The asset for which the route has to be plotted. It can be selected from the following list of configured sample records. Users can also select \u2018custom\u2019<\/strong> to enter their details.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]\"Truck<\/p>\n

        1. Trailer 1<\/li>\n
        2. Trailer 2<\/li>\n
        3. Trailer 3<\/li>\n
        4. Trailer 4<\/li>\n
        5. Trailer 5<\/li>\n
        6. Trailer 6<\/li>\n
        7. Custom<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          2.<\/strong> Axles:<\/strong> The number of axles.<\/p>\n

          3. Dimension Unit:<\/strong> The unit of measurement of width, height, and length. Can be one of the following values:<\/p>\n

          1. Meter<\/li>\n
          2. Feet<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            4. Height:<\/strong> The height of the vehicle in the specified dimension units.<\/p>\n

            5. Length:<\/strong> The length of the vehicle in the specified dimension units.<\/p>\n

            6. Width:<\/strong> The width of the vehicle in the specified dimension units.<\/p>\n

            7. Weight Unit:<\/strong> The unit of measurement of weight. Can be one of the following values.<\/p>\n

            8. Weight:<\/strong> The weight of the vehicle in the specified weight units.<\/p>\n

            9. Hazardous Materials:<\/strong> List of one or more hazardous materials for which the vehicle is transporting. Possible values are:<\/p>\n

            Combustible, Corrosive, Explosive, Flammable, Flammable Solid, Gas, Goods Harmful to Water, Organic, Other, Poison, Poisonous Inhalation, Radioactive, None.<\/p>\n
