However, very often users\u2019 need to perform the same search every time they need to target customers based on specific parameters. For example, find all the accounts within 2 miles proximity (radius) of a particular location having annual revenue greater than $500,000.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.maplytics.com\/release-notes\/maplytics-jan-2017-release-coming-speak-language\/\">latest release<\/a> of Maplytics, we have incorporated a new feature, which allows users to save their search criteria with filters and zoom level, as a template. This will help the user to save time by using previously saved template instead of performing the same search again.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The user can save all the information used in Plot Records card and Category card with zoom level. Follow the steps mentioned below to save the search criteria as a template<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1. Go to Detail Map &gt; Plot CRM records on Map as shown below:<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-3344 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.maplytics.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Save-Search-Criteria-as-a-Template-in-Maplytics-1.jpg\" alt=\"Map Dynamics CRM\" width=\"1360\" height=\"671\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the above example, we have used the Radius search and plotted \u2018My Active Accounts\u2019 in Dynamics CRM\/365 within 2 miles radius of \u2018Silver Lake Golf Course, Staten Island\u2019 and used \u2018Industry\u2019 to categorize the data. The user can also use \u2018By Region\u2019, \u2018By Drawing\u2019 and \u2018By Territory\u2019 options.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2. Uncheck few industries to narrow down your search results:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3345\" src=\"http:\/\/www.maplytics.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Save-Search-Criteria-as-a-Template-in-Maplytics-2.jpg\" alt=\"Save Search Criteria as a Template in Maplytics - Mapping Tool\" width=\"1361\" height=\"672\" \/>3. Click on \u2018Save Template\u2019 option to save these search criteria. This will save the search criteria to plot all My Active Accounts within 2 miles radius of Silver Lake Golf Course, Staten Island where Industry is not equal to Banking, Blank, and Engineering.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3346\" src=\"http:\/\/www.maplytics.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Save-Search-Criteria-as-a-Template-in-Maplytics-3.jpg\" alt=\"Save Search Criteria as a Template in Maplytics - Dynamics CRM Bing Map\" width=\"1255\" height=\"616\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The user can choose from the options mentioned below:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Add to Existing Template \u2013 This option will allow user to update any existing template with the new search criteria. This will contain the list of all the templates defined by the logged-in user.<\/li>\n<li>Create New Template \u2013 This option will allow user to save the search criteria as a new template<\/li>\n<li>Access Level: There are two different type of access level for Maplytics Template.\n<ul>\n<li>Public \u2013 This will allow user to share this template with other Dynamics 365 \/ Dynamics CRM users.<\/li>\n<li>Personal \u2013 This will enable user to restrict the template to himself and no other member in the organization will be able to use this search criteria.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this example, we are creating a new template with the name \u20182 Miles Golf Course\u2019 and setting the access level to Personal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">4. To access Saved Templates, choose \u2018By Template\u2019 option in Search options as shown below:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3347\" src=\"http:\/\/www.maplytics.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Save-Search-Criteria-as-a-Template-in-Maplytics-4.jpg\" alt=\"Save Search Criteria as a Template in Maplytics - Mapping Solution\" width=\"1249\" height=\"613\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With the addition of the ability to save search criteria as a template, Dynamics 365\/CRM users can easily find and target customers just by accessing the saved template. This feature will help Marketing Team to build dynamic Marketing list.
