This saves a lot of time for the user and makes it more efficient to use. Now, what if the user needs to execute the same search around the same record frequently? With the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.maplytics.com\/release-notes\/redefining-field-productivity-within-dynamics-365-maplytics-march-2018-release\/\">latest release<\/a>, we have provided a way to add a Maplytics Detail Map component that loads the saved template associated with the Dynamics CRM entity record on the Entity Form.<\/p>\n<p>This gives the users a jump starts on the maps with the frequently used search criteria. This way the users can see the desired template in regards to the individual record and execute further actions on the same.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s say Mr. David is a service provider and one of his customers is interested in his service. Every time the customer needs service he needs to do a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.maplytics.com\/radius-search-dynamics-crm\/\">radius search<\/a>\u00a0to see which service providers are available within the proximity of the service location. Now with this latest feature, a user can plot the individual customer record and execute a Concentric Proximity search and save it as a template to show on the entity form of that customer record. To do this the user needs to follow the steps mentioned below. For David\u2019s instance, we have chosen the Accounts entity.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>1<\/strong>. Create a lookup field on an Entity form<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Account record &gt; Form &gt; New field<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-6005 aligncenter\" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maplytics.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Access-Saved-Map-Templates-on-Entity-Form-in-Dynamics-365-1.png\" alt=\"Access Saved Map Templates on Entity Form in Dynamics 365\" width=\"744\" height=\"294\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Here we have name the field as \u2018Template\u2019 with the data type \u2018Look up\u2019<\/li>\n<li>Select the Target Record Type as \u2018Maplytics Templates\u2019<\/li>\n<li>Click on Save and Close<\/li>\n<li>Add this field on form &gt; Save and Publish<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-15589\" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maplytics.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/template.png\" alt=\"template\" width=\"1366\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Select a template and save. Enter the template name<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enter logical name of the field \u2018Template\u2019 created on entity form in the entity map.<\/li>\n<li>Entity maps &gt;Account &gt; Attribute Mappings &gt; Template<\/li>\n<li>The logical name of the field \u2018Template\u2019 created on the Entity form is new_template.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5700 aligncenter\" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maplytics.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Access-Saved-Map-Templates-on-Entity-Form-in-Dynamics-3652.jpg\" alt=\"Access Saved Map Templates on Entity Form in Dynamics 365\" width=\"762\" height=\"237\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>4<\/strong>. Refresh the Account entity form. Likewise, he can select different templates for different Entity records according to his preference. Now let\u2019s say he realizes that one of the service providers is close enough to the service location to provide the service. Now David wants the concerned person to visit the service location and fix the problem.
