These things eventually result in increased revenue along with effective sales resource management.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sales Insights through Insightful Map Dashboards in Dynamics CRM<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The first step for the Sales Reps is to go through intuitive and insightful map dashboards to understand the priorities for the day and also get updates on sales.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For this scenario, we have created a custom <strong><em>\u2018Maplytics Overview \u2013 Sales Reps\u2019<\/em><\/strong> dashboard.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-5852\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maplytics.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Improving-Sales-and-Marketing-with-Geospatial-Intelligence-within-Dynamics-365-Part-31.png\" alt=\"Improving Sales and Marketing with Geospatial-Intelligence within Dynamics 365-Part 3\" width=\"886\" height=\"411\" \/><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong><em>Note: To create your own Maplytics Dashboards; please refer to this <\/em><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inogic.com\/blog\/2015\/12\/configure-your-own-dashboards-in-maplytics-for-microsoft-dynamics-crm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong><em>article<\/em><\/strong><\/a><strong><em>.<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the first dashboard, <strong><em>\u2018My Appointments,\u2019<\/em><\/strong> the Sales Rep can see all of the Appointments planned for the day further color coded based on Priority. The Sales Rep can then hover over a particular appointment to see the Subject of the Appointment or click on it for more information about the appointment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-5853\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maplytics.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Improving-Sales-and-Marketing-with-Geospatial-Intelligence-within-Dynamics-365-Part-32.png\" alt=\"Improving Sales and Marketing with Geospatial-Intelligence within Dynamics 365-Part 3\" width=\"888\" height=\"504\" \/>The second dashboard is a Route Activity Dashboard showing <strong><em>\u2018My Today\u2019s Route\u2019 <\/em><\/strong>as default. This is where the Sales Rep can see all the assigned routes that were assigned by the Sales Manager. If the Sales Rep saves any other route for the day, even that would be shown here. This dashboard gives a brief idea about the route like the <strong><em>No. of Waypoints, Route Distance, <\/em><\/strong>and <strong><em>Travel Time.<\/em><\/strong> We will open and see the action the Sales Rep can take on this route after covering all the dashboards.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-5854\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maplytics.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Improving-Sales-and-Marketing-with-Geospatial-Intelligence-within-Dynamics-365-Part-33.png\" alt=\"Improving Sales and Marketing with Geospatial-Intelligence within Dynamics 365-Part 3\" width=\"972\" height=\"506\" \/>The third dashboard, <strong><em>\u2018My Open Opportunities,\u2019<\/em><\/strong> provides the Sales Rep a view of all the assigned open opportunities further color coded based on <strong><em>Estimated Revenue<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-5855\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maplytics.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Improving-Sales-and-Marketing-with-Geospatial-Intelligence-within-Dynamics-365-Part-34.png\" alt=\"Improving Sales and Marketing with Geospatial-Intelligence within Dynamics 365-Part 3\" width=\"956\" height=\"542\" \/>Then the last dashboards is a heat map visualizations of <strong><em>\u2018Sales by Postal Code\u2019<\/em><\/strong> which provides the Sales Rep with at glance information of which areas are performing well regarding Sales.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-5855\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maplytics.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Improving-Sales-and-Marketing-with-Geospatial-Intelligence-within-Dynamics-365-Part-35.png\" alt=\"Improving Sales and Marketing with Geospatial-Intelligence within Dynamics 365-Part 3\" width=\"956\" height=\"542\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>Share Optimized Routes to Improve Route Management in Dynamics CRM<\/h4>\n<p>Now, let\u2019s get back to the route assigned to the Sales Reps.<br \/>\nThe Route Dashboard is a great way to get updates on the routes assigned to the Sales Rep.<br \/>\nWhen the Sales Rep clicks on the route records, the saved route activity record will open.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-5857\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maplytics.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Improving-Sales-and-Marketing-with-Geospatial-Intelligence-within-Dynamics-365-Part-36.png\" alt=\"Improving Sales and Marketing with Geospatial-Intelligence within Dynamics 365-Part 3\" width=\"956\" height=\"451\" \/>This route activity record will have more information about the shared route. The Sales Rep can have a look at all the waypoints added to the route and also open the respective record on clicking on any waypoint to get more information about the customers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The route activity record also contains the route parameters like whether the route was optimized, route distance, number of waypoints and other details.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-5858\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maplytics.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Improving-Sales-and-Marketing-with-Geospatial-Intelligence-within-Dynamics-365-Part-37.png\" alt=\"Improving Sales and Marketing with Geospatial-Intelligence within Dynamics 365-Part 3\" width=\"1349\" height=\"208\" \/>The Sales Rep can use the \u2018Plot Route\u2019 button in the ribbon to directly plot the route on the map.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-5859\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maplytics.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Improving-Sales-and-Marketing-with-Geospatial-Intelligence-within-Dynamics-365-Part-38.png\" alt=\"Improving Sales and Marketing with Geospatial-Intelligence within Dynamics 365-Part 3\" width=\"1079\" height=\"509\" \/>The Sales Rep can add other waypoints to this route if there any pre-scheduled meeting. The Sales Rep can also update the saved route by using the \u2018Open Saved Routes,\u2019 search for the saved route and clicking on <strong><em>Update<\/em><\/strong> to keep the Sales Manager in the loop about the changes to the route.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-5860\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maplytics.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Improving-Sales-and-Marketing-with-Geospatial-Intelligence-within-Dynamics-365-Part-39.png\" alt=\"Improving Sales and Marketing with Geospatial-Intelligence within Dynamics 365-Part 3\" width=\"1366\" height=\"644\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Now, let us consider a scenario where one of the Appointment is canceled.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Here, the Sales Rep has two options.
