Now after the territories are created they need to be assigned to the Leads. After the territories are assigned to the leads, these territories can be assigned to the sales team, so that they can meet their leads to convert them into their customers. To assign the territories to the leads the user needs to create a Territory Assignment workflow for the entity Lead so that it can be run on the lead records to assign territories to them. To create a Territory assignment workflow for an entity, the user can follow the steps mentioned below. The user can also set up this workflow for out of box and custom entities as well.<br \/>\n<strong>1<\/strong>. Create a 1: N relationship of Lead with Territory entity.<br \/>\n<strong>2<\/strong>. Go to Settings &gt; Processes &gt; Click on \u2018New\u2019 to design a new Workflow Process.<br \/>\n<strong>3<\/strong>. Write Process name, choose \u2018Workflow\u2019 under category section and select the desired entity. Select the checkbox for \u2018Run this workflow in the background\u2019 as shown below.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-15366 aligncenter\" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maplytics.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/1Territory-assignment-workflow-for-Entities-within-Dynamics-CRM.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"643\" height=\"481\" \/><br \/>\n<strong>4<\/strong>. Select \u2018Organization\u2019 under \u2018Scope\u2019 dropdown. Click on \u2018Add Steps\u2019 and add \u2018AssignTerritoryWorkflow.AssignTerritory\u2019 assembly as shown below.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-15375 aligncenter\" style=\"border: 1px solid #0a0a0a; padding: 1px; margin: 1px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maplytics.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/4Territory-assignment-workflow-for-Entities-within-Dynamics-CRM-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"643\" height=\"481\" \/><br \/>\n<strong>7<\/strong>. The user can now run this workflow on the leads and based on the geo-coordinates of the leads this workflow will assign the respective territories to the Leads.<br \/>\nUsers can easily get the records of the entities geocoded with the Geocoding workflow which can also be created for out of box and custom entities as well.
