Sales & Field Service Reps now have a Better Control on their Route Planning within Dynamics 365 CRM
Route optimization is one of the most used features of Maplytics by sales and field reps. The most significant benefits of Route Optimization is that the Sales Reps can improve their on-time performance rate. As routes are optimized, Sales Reps can reach customers on time and also schedule another meeting in case there have been any cancellations in any existing ones.
Along with Route Optimization, saving and sharing routes with has become the necessity for every sales and service professional. However, previously when the user created a route in Maplytics, the route and plotted data were stored on different layers and the user had to switch between the Plot and Directions Card to view the plotted data and the route respectively.
Now with the Maplytics March 2018 release sales & field service reps will have a better control on their routes, as we have added a small enhancement to this. With this release, Maplytics users will be able to merge both the layers which makes it easier for users to have their data and routes on one screen!
Merged Route and Plot View
Earlier the users were able to view either plotted data or optimized route, but not both on one screen so they had to switch between route and plot view. But now with Maplytics March 2018 release, when the user plots the data and creates a route, both the plotted data and the route will stay on the map.
This merged view eliminates the need of switching between the Plot and Directions Card to view the plotted data and the route respectively and makes it easy for the user to add more waypoints to the route without switching between Plot and Directions cards which ultimately increases your on-field productivity.
Further, the user can easily add one or more destinations to his existing route on the same screen in few clicks.
Merged Route and Plot View on Dynamics 365 App for Phones & Tablets:
This enhancement has been added for Maplytics on Dynamics 365 App for Phones and Tablets as well which helps organizations to increase field productivity.
