The future seems to be a painting by AI. Collaborating with like-minded professionals is the ticket to this beautiful future! Power Platform would be a loaded weapon to envision and realize the future.

No, it is not some crazy jibber jabber, I’m still in the hangover of #MPPC23.

The grand event was conducted from the 3rd-5th of Oct 2023 at the stunning MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada and we enjoyed every moment of our attendance there. It was a perfectly coordinated and organized event for tech geeks like us!

MPPC is one of the grand tech community events for Microsoft enthusiasts, who are keen to upgrade their knowledge about the latest innovations in the Microsoft ecosystem, especially Power Platform.

AI was the unofficial hero of the event and discussed amply. At #MPPC23, Microsoft presented its vision of AI as the co-architect of the future.

How was our experience?

Inogic – Maplytics at #MPPC23

Inogic was a highlight at #MPPC23 with its presence and Maplytics stole the show. Many tech enthusiasts lined up at Inogic’s Booth #102 to meet the product experts responsible for 15+ years of innovation and expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.

The flagship product of Maplytics was in demand for in-depth details, work, and demos. The features that were a talk of the conference were Auto Scheduling and Territory Management. A lot of techies seemed intrigued by the perfect partnership between Maplytics and Dynamics Field Service. They wanted to explore how Maplytics helps with Field Service Management and also makes it profitable. The Team received many genuine contacts who want to explore Maplytics further from the perspective of their business requirements and the next stage talks are in progress with them!

Inogic also showcased two of the recent innovations – Whatsapp4Dynamics and DedupeD and discussed its suite of 15+ unique apps!

Microsoft Power Platform Conference was a great opportunity to learn from the experts and connect with them. Inogic showcased their solutions and shared their insights with the attendees. In this video, one can see how Inogic’s apps and services can help enhance business processes and achieve more with the Power Platform.

Keynote at #MPPC23

#MPPC23 saw a streamlined organization of Keynote Events with eminent personalities from the tech world. It excited and invited a lot of attention and appreciation from the attendees. The flow of the speakers was well-organized and thoughtful which kept the listeners hooked!

Let’s have a look at the key points discussed at the event.

Keynote 1: Copilot for Power Apps, Power Pages, and Power Automate

A keynote was presented by Charles Lamanna, CVP of Business Apps & Platforms at Microsoft. He set the tone with some numeric facts like 33 million monthly active users for Power Platform in 2023, which was 20 million in 2022, and 10 million monthly active users for Power Automate alone.

Microsoft clarified their vision with AI which is about people harnessing AI to make their tasks more effective and efficient. Anyone from any field can easily create apps, pages, reports, workflows, and more with limited or no technical skills using the Power Platform and its new co-partner: Copilot.

Top highlights from the Keynote event

Copilot for Power Apps

Copilot for Power Apps is a new feature that allows easy upload of Excel files to the Power App and automatically transforms them into Dataverse tables, making the data more accessible and interactive across the Power Platform.

Copilot for Power Pages

The Copilot text wizard for Power Pages can generate design suggestions based on the user’s input. It can also create specific types of pages, such as HR pages. Once the page is ready, Copilot can add any feature or component that the user requests.

Keynote 2: GitHub Copilot: The Next Level of Coding

GitHub CEO Thomas Dohmke announced a new AI-powered assistant called Copilot that can generate code and follow up with new features, potentially making development 10x faster. He demoed how Copilot can generate code for a simple snake game in JavaScript, and then improve the design to make it more visually appealing. This is just one example of how Copilot can be used to streamline the development process.

Thus, “Co” in Copilot stands for Collaborator!
